Progress edition encouraging

Today's issue includes the final regular installment of this year's Progress Edition, and we've found it encouraging to see the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well in Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas. Congratulations to special projects editor Jeremy Blomstedt for heading up the edition, as well as the all the contributors and staff members who made the edition a success.

Somehow, Blomstedt also found time to take part in the Southwest Community Theatre Association's production of "The Mikado," set for the McCook High School auditorium stage March 12-15.

Our hat is off to all the actors and crew who took time out from their busy schedules to enrich the cultural life of our community.
