Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh returning to Nebraska for senior season

LINCOLN -- All-Big 12 defensive lineman Ndamukong (en-DOM-uh-ken) Suh (SOO) says he'll return to Nebraska for his senior season.

Suh said in a statement Monday that he made his decision after conferring with his family and coaches.

He said it's his priority to graduate with his degree in construction management before leaving. He also says he wants to continue his development under coach Bo Pelini and the defensive staff.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder from Portland, Ore., says staying another season will enhance his chances of having a successful career in the NFL .

Suh led the Huskers with 76 tackles, including 7.5 sacks. He also intercepted two passes, running one back for a touchdown.
