Kuhlen, Fritsche wedding

Mikayla and Charles Fritsche Jr.

Mikayla Kuhlen and Charles Fritsche Jr., both of Beatrice and formerly of McCook, were united in marriage March 29, 2008, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook, with the Rev. Gary Brethour presiding.

Parents of the the couple are Leon and Phyllis Kuhlen and Charles and Janet Fritsche, all of McCook.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Paul and Levina Fritsche and Yvonne Underwood, all of McCook.

Maid of honor was JoAnn Heien of Minneapolis. Bridesmaids were Kim Fitzke, sister of the bride, of Portland, Ore., Konnie Larson, sister of the bride, of McCook, Ashey Wroblewski of Omaha, Julie Fritsche, sister of the bridegroom, of Indianopolis, Ind., Bethany Bates of Kearney, Melissa Borer, cousin of the bride, of Kearney and Talia Placzek of Kearney.

The best man was Cody Wilson of Boise City, Okla.,

Bridegroomsmen were Joel Hauxwell of Culbertson, Michael Kuhlen, brother of the bride, of McCook, David Kuhlen, brother of the bride of McCook, Chance Blickenstaff of Goodwell, Okla., Mitch Harmoney of Kearney, Jeremy Poss of Alba and Tony Mills of Vona, Colo.

The flower girl was Heather Cole, cousin of the bridegroom, of Curtis.

The ring bearer was Michael Larson Jr., nephew of the bride, of McCook.

Ushers were Blaine Bortner of McCook, Davy Johnson of Goodwell, Kyle Underwood, cousin of the bridegroom, of McCook, and Brandon Nuttelman of Lincoln.

Sally Loescher of McCook was the organist. Program handlers were the nieces of the bride.

A reception was at the Community Building at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds.

Guestbook attendants were Courtney Fritsche and Katelyn Fritsche, cousins of the bridegroom and both of McCook.

Host couples were Steve and Karen Fatzinger, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom, of Westminster, Colo., and Don and Jude Zegers, uncle and aunt of the bride, of Neligh.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and works for the State of Nebraska.

The bridegroom graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and works for the Nebraska Public Power District.

The couple resides in Beatrice.
