"The last week of eighth grade basketball provided a dramatic turnaround from Monday to Thursday," said Bison coaches Steve Clapp and Tom Lentz.

"Against Lexington on Monday the girls played but did not compete. Thursday against Chase County, the girls played with intensity and did many of the things that we have worked on during the season.

Several girls from this team will have a chance to help at the high school level, depending whether they will commit themselves to practice time in the off season. The coaches would like to thank the girls for their efforts during the season."
