Eagles say thanks

Once again football fans from the Nebraska Panhandle and the surrounding region provided tremendous support for Chadron State College's team in their NCAA Division II playoff game this past Saturday.

The crowd at the Eagle's 76 to 73 (yes folks, that is a football score) three-overtime victory may have been even larger than last year's record crowd.

Numerous Chadron State players commented after the game that they were amazed at how well the crowd stayed in the game through the very end. Those of you in attendance were rewarded with what truly is a game for the ages.

You helped the Eagles earn the right for a quarter finals rematch with Northwest Missouri State. But this time the game is in Chadron! See you at Don Beebe stadium on Dec. 1 … game time has been moved to 11:30 a.m.
