LeAnn Haarberg

WAUNETA -- LeAnn Haarberg, 45, died Saturday (Nov. 10, 2007) at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, Colo.

She was born April 11, 1962, in Imperial, to Leroy R. and Shirley A. (Murray) Haarberg. She grew up on the family farm south of Wauneta and attended school in Wauneta. She graduated from Wauneta High School in 1980, and went on to receive her associate's degree in office systems from Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kan.

She made her home in Goodland and worked with the Goodland Regional Medical Center in the information systems for almost 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one aunt and uncle.

Survivors include her parents, Leroy and Shirley Haarberg of Wauneta and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. (MT) at United Methodist Church in Wauneta, with the Rev. Judy Dye officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.

There is no visitation.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be given to the donor's choice.

Liewer Funeral Home of Wauneta is in charge of arrangements.
