William 'Bill' Urban

NORTON, Kan. -- William "Bill" Urban, 75, died Thursday (Aug. 9, 2007), at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kan.

He was born Jan. 23, 1937, at Pfifer, Kan.

He was the assistant manager at Safeway and Cooper Pest Control.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Urban of Norton; son Mike and wife, Andrea Urban of Inman, Kan.; and daughter, Kim and husband, David Eagleburger of Norton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Norton with the Rev. Vincent Thu Laing officiating. Inurnment will be at the Norton Cemetery.

A vigil service is set for Monday, 7 p.m., at the church.

There will be no visitation as the body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to the church for Masses; to the Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas, and Hospice of Norton.

Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
