NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Lela Huff, 87, died Saturday (April 28, 2007) in Northglenn, Colo.

She was born April 28, 1920, in Kanona, Kan., to John and Lizzie (Pauley) Frickey. She grew up near Kanona and attended Center School and Kanona High School. She attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minn.

She married Leonard Huff on March 25, 1939. They lived on a farm near Lyle. They also lived in Leech Lake, Minn., Broomfield, Colo., Lake McConaughy at Ogallala and Oberlin. She worked as a homemaker.

Se was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard Huff; son, John LeDon Huff; grandson, Joseph Schwab; six brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Schwab of Norcatur, Kan., and Peggy Glenn and Paula Maloney of Northglenn, Colo.; one brother, Norton Frickey of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be Friday, 10 a.m., in the Oberlin Cemetery, with Mr. Kerry Glenn officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and Friday until time of service at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin.

Memorials may be given to donor's choice.
