Kalyn Byers and Spencer Doyle

Kalyn Byers of Clarinda, Iowa and Spencer Doyle of Lincoln announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Philip and Starlene Byers and Randy and Dee Doyle, formerly of McCook.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Gerry and Bess Gilliland of Cambridge, Floyd and Carla Bales of Holbrook and the Ray Doyle and Ruth Doyle of West Va.

The bride-to-be obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Law.

The prospective bridegroom obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is a conductor for Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

A June 16, 2007, wedding is being planned at the First United Methodist Church in Clarinda.
