Letter to the Editor

Farming, acting

Thursday, March 22, 2007

Dear Editor,

Hats off to Lory Cappel and Todd Thieszen for their articles in Monday's Gazette about the importance of agriculture.

I am an OLD?farm person and I fully agree with everything their writings contained. I have said many times -- "Where would the people of the world be if it wasn't for the farmers."

God bless all of them. How thankful we can be for their contribution. We owe our very life to them.

Kudos to Paul Schneider for his letter about the disrespectable language used in the Community Theater production. It shouldn't be necessary to use cuss words to attract the public.

May I suggest that people stop and realize who their Creator is, what He did and is still doing for us.

There is coming a day of judgment and people better "get their house in order" and I don't mean a building, I mean their life. Quit throwing insults in God's face.

Esther Wissbaum,

McCook
