Letter to the Editor

Saving time, oil

Friday, March 16, 2007

Dear Editor,

I saw the article, "Let's end the Daylight Saving Time experiment." Boy, what a misguided Democrat they are. Sounds like they own oil stocks. In the first place, we save 15 million barrels of oil a month. That is a fact.

As far as the computers are concerned, if you update like you should, you would not have a problem. If you run a computer, you should learn how to use it. Go to the time and date in the control panel, uncheck the box for daylight savings time.

Set the time and hit apply. Let me tell you, it is not rocket science.

Coming from a farm family, I happen to know you get up with the sun and go to bed with it, if you are lucky. It does not matter what time it is. As far as what we do with the extra hour of light, that is up to the individual, not some self centered Democrat that thinks you should do as they say.

But that is what is nice about America, we all have our opinions, even if they do not know what they are talking about.

I say let's leave the time where it is now, so we do not fund more terrorists.

Where do you think that money goes, when you have to turn on your lights early? -- not to us.
