OBERLIN -- Charlotte Hart, 64, died Monday (Feb. 27, 2006) in Hays, Kan.

She was born April 12, 1941, in Waukesha, Wis., to William Cooper and Florence Starr. She attended Bayview High School in Milwaukee, Wis., and Respiratory School in Pueblo, Colo.

She married Gilbert J. Hart on Feb. 11, 1960, in Rockford, Ill. The couple made their home in Kansas City, Mo., and Colorado before moving to Oberlin in 2000.

She was a registered respiratory therapist.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society and the Oberlin American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Cooper; a brother, William Cooper; and sisters, Florence Letts and Evelyn Croft.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert of Oberlin; sons, Samuel Hart of Longmont, Colo., and Jeff Hart of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Donna and husband, Bob Flowers of Rockport, Mo., three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services are pending with Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin, which is in charge of arrangements.
