McCook-St. Pat's boys, girls A teams fall to Maywood

MAYWOOD -- The McCook Saint Patrick's girls and boys basketball teams played against Maywood Tuesday.

The girls and boys A teams came up short to Maywood 32-10 and 42-10, the girls B team was shy 9-6, the boys B team won against Maywood 11-4.

Gretchen Sehnert led the A team with 6 points. Jessica Jankovits and Rebecca Goodenberger had 2 points each.

Emily Tolliver, Amanda Fuchuck and Emily Wood had 2 points each for the B team.

Maywood's Anna Owens led the A team with 16 points. Melody Worgaard had 14 points. Kelsey Benzel had 2.

Jobi Hasencuer led the B team with 3 points. Kaitlyn Greeley, Jessica Gray and Kelsey Banzel each had 2 points.

Brandon Arent led the Maywood A team in the win with 20 points. Tanner Steinhour posted 14 points.

Tylan Peterson had 6 points and Jordan Walther had 2. Lance Zwickle and Walther were the only scorers in the B game with 2 points each.

Kyle Gaston led the St. Pats B team with 5 points. William Burkert, Ethan Doyle and Wyatt Kain each had 2 points. Kain led the scoring in the A game with 6 points. Alex Broadfoot had 4.

Rawlins County sweeps St. Pat's

ATWOOD -- Rawlins County's girls pushed past McCook St.Pats Monday. Atwood's A team won 41-21 and the B team 27-11 against St. Pats.

Kayla Spilinek led the St Pats B team with 4 points. Gretchen Sehnert had 3 and Amanda Fuchuck had 2. Alex Witt and Cylee Liess both had 1 point.

Sehnert led the A team in scoring with 11 points Jessica Jankovitz had 5 points. Rebecca Goodenberger and Natalie Sis had 2 points each and Kelli Montey had 1.

Basgall was the leading scorer for Atwood' s B team with 9 points. Reuber had 6 points and Peterson had 4. Carroll, Chvatal, Castros and Roll each had 2 points.

Bergling led the A team with 15 points. Algan had 8. Green and Chessmore had 5. Mozer and Fields both had 4 points.
