Viola "Brownie" Brown

Viola "Brownie" Brown of Benkelman is celebrating her 102nd birthday today. She was born Dec. 16, 1903. She moved to Dundy County at the age of 12.

She married Ernest Brown in May 1919. The couple had eight children.

She is now living in the assisted living section of the Hester Home in Benkelman. She still takes walks and rides a stationary bike.
