Letter to the Editor

Law & morality

Tuesday, November 8, 2005

Dear Editor,

Both former president Bill Clinton and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D. Mass.) were quoted in the media as praising and agreeing with Rosa Parks and her stand and defiance against the laws of Alabama in 1955.

Therefore, anyone who agrees that Rosa Parks did the right thing with her defiance is acknowledging that law is subservient to morality.

Sincerely,

George R. Anderson

McCook
