Grateful golfer

Dear Editor,

To the McCook Community,

My wife, Mackenzie, and I were born and raised in the McCook Community.

We still have many relatives and friends in the area. Even though we have been gone for almost 10 years now, we still feel very much apart of the community.

Recently, I qualified and played in the 2005 PGA Championship at Baltusrol in Springfield N.J. By far, this was the biggest tournament I have ever competed in and I was extremely excited and proud of the support I receive from my hometown.

When I heard that there was a fundraising drive to help out our expenses I didn't have any words to explain how grateful I was.

Mackenzie and I are very thankful of the support from everyone, especially the members at Heritage Hills and the Gazette.

Again we thank all of you who supported us.
