10 and under Rebels drop two games at Gothenburg

GOTHENBURG -- The McCook Rebels 10 and Under team lost two games against the Gothenburg Angels 7-1 and 13-4 on Tuesday night.

In the opener, Kaylee Samway and Marisa Esch were both on the mound for the Rebels.

Samway struck out five and Esch rung up one.

Jenna Smith, Madison Chitwood, Megan Ruppert and Kassidy Gillen all had base hits on a strong Gothenburg pitcher.

Ruppert had the lone RBI and Smith scored on her hit.

In the second game, Esch, Khyla Krepcik and Chitwood were all on the mound.

Ruppert, Krepcik and Esch each had singles and RBIs.

The 10 and under Rebels will travel to North Platte on Thursday night.

They will play the Junior Sparks twice starting at 6 p.m.
