Letter to the Editor

Chairman George

Monday, June 13, 2005

Dear Editor,

As I was reading the Thursday paper, I noticed a chilling similarity on page 7 to pictures seen in history books and movie tone newsreels. (Yes, I'm that old.)

If you draw a small little moustache under Chairman George's nose, he almost looks like Uncle Adolf did with his fist raised and his mouth open as he urged the German people on to greater efforts to win the war and to eradicate all those who didn't have blue eyes and blond hair. I do know that Uncle Adolf had black hair, thanks for asking.

The point is, when people fail to keep track of the ones running the country, there's no telling what they will do. Uncle Adolf wanted to secure Germany's borders by invading the countries surrounding it, thus starting World War II. Chairman George has invaded two countries for the purpose of securing America's borders.

I'm sure that there are other similarities, but it's late and I have to work. Just a couple more "Liberal" points to ponder as you watch the list of KIA's increase.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Yost

McCook
