Letter to the Editor

Cheaper than salt

Tuesday, August 24, 2004

Dear Editor,

I'm wondering what's the big deal about Bible study in school?

Anyone who wants their kids taught in that type of surrounding can take them to a church school, or even go so far as to home school.

Why pester people with something they don't choose to believe in?

I have no problem with religion; anyone who wishes to should be allowed to practice according to their faith.

I do, however, wish the born-again fanatics would join forces with the story telling politicians and talk when the streets are covered in ice.

I'm sure the resultant blast of hot air would clear the streets far cheaper than salt.

Have a good day.

Robert A. Yost,

McCook
