The boys tennis meeting for students entering grades 9-12 at McCook High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the McCook Junior High School cafeteria.

The time was incorrectly listed at 7:30 p.m. in two previous articles.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

McCook Bison softball starts conditioning Monday

Conditioning begins Monday for any girls in grades 9-12 who plan to play softball at McCook High School.

The Bison conditioning program will start at 8 a.m. at the Jaycees Sports Complex.

The McCook softball team will scrimmage at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21.

at Trenton

TRENTON -- Doug Anderson, of Trenton, recently hit a hole in one at the Trenton golf course.

Anderson holed the par three 137 yard , number 6 hole, using a pitching wedge.

* The Harvest Festival Three-Man Golf Tournement will take place at the Trenton Golf course at 1 p.m. Monday.

Registration is $45 per team, scramble format. Flag prizes and refreshment provided.
