Cheat-off crowd

Wednesday, August 4, 2004

Dear Editor,

If the cheat-off crowd thinks a $1 check-off is doing them good, why don't they put in $20 for more profit?

Quit rustling from everybody else. How many agents do they have hunting, persecuting and damaging those who want to do their own promoting?

Churches have the same goal -- heaven, not hell! (But they) disagree on how! Therefore, the First Amendment Bill of rights.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press ... IV: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated ... V: ... nor be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law ... VIII: Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

"Protect ownership! And prohibit excessive fines, cruel and unusual punishment. Where doth the Constitution grant the cheat-off crowd their monopoly? If thou advertised in newspaper, radio, TV and Internet, and only the paper did thee good, must ye retain the others?

If concentration amongst beef packers and grain monopolies (non competition) is bad for the cowboy and agronomist, how much more tragic and unprofitable are the cheat-off crowd, who claim nary a cattleman nor farmer intelligent enough to round up or grow a paycheck and is smart enough to spend it?

Therefore, they terrorize sale barns and elevators into seizing part of it for them. So they can do him good? Aha aha. Name anyone who bought even a hamburger from their feigned efforts. No one should be forced to pay union dues to get a job nor by mandatory check-off of any crop or livestock part paid.

"My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us ... cast in thy lot among us, all have one purse." Proverbs 1:10, 11a, 14.
