Already a Norris Elementary

Dear Editor,

Just wanted to mention that the name George W. Norris is already being used by another school in Nebraska which I attended and graduated from.

It holds grades kindergarten to senior high and it is located outside of Firth, Neb., and it is just called Norris, but is named after George W. Norris.

Recently it was damaged severely by the tornadoes that hit in May down by Hallam, Neb. From what I have heard, the school has plans to be up and running again in September.

Anyway I just thought that it maybe something interesting to know and I think that McCook should go with a different name then Norris due to there is already one in the state.
