Marcia Lou (Earl) Higgins

Marcia Lou (Earl) Higgins, 77, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., passed away at her home Nov. 4, 2003, of ovarian cancer.

She was born Dec. 17, 1926, at Benedict. She grew up in Bartley and graduated and entered her career in McCook with the railroading industry transferring via many eastern states, ending her career in Denver after 40 years.

She married Lyle Higgins in Denver, Colo., in 1966.

Marcia loved everyone. She spent many years serving civic organizations, had a love for music and a desire to help others.

She is survived by her husband Lyle of 37 years, a brother, Darrell in Bartley plus cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.

At her request, family services were held at the home. The family requests no flowers. She donated her body to Science Care Anatomical.
