Timothy 'Tim' Paul Brown

LAWSON, Mo. -- Timothy "Tim" Paul Brown, 47, died Friday (Jan. 3, 2003) in Alamogordo, N.M.

He was born Feb. 5, 1955, in McCook to Thomas (Bud) and Leraine (Loker) Brown. He spent his childhood on a small farm south of Trenton and graduated from Trenton High School with the class of 1974.

He has spent most of his life farming in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and Missouri. He also drove a truck for Northwest Transportation and was currently employed by Yellow Freight. He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Bart; and a niece, Cheri.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela J. of Lawson, Mo.; children, Jereme Brown and wife, Christy of Lawson, Amanda Albers of Colby, Kan., Ivy Brown of Lawson and Cy Brown of the home; two brothers, Dwight Brown and wife, Percilla of Vernon, Colo., and Danny Brown and wife, Kay of Oxford; two sisters, Sarah and husband, Jeff Whalen of North Platte and Alice and husband, Daniel Jeffres of Lawson; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 1 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 13109 Highway O, Wood Heights, Mo.

The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. The family and friends will gather at Lawson Fire Department after the graveside services Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tim Brown Memorial Fund in care of the Lawson Bank. Correspondence will reach the family at P.O. Box 271, Excelsior Springs, Mo. 64024.
