Robert Michael Scott

Robert Michael Scott, 46, died Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2003) in McCook.

He was born Aug. 3, 1956, to James Alvin and Cora Ann (Turpin) Scott in Oberlin. He attended Wahoo-Newman Catholic High School and Central Tech College in Grand Island.

On Nov. 8, 1975, he married Kathy Stock in Trenton.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Scott; and his grandparents, James and Vera Scott, Bill Jensen and Robert Turpin.

Survivors include a son, Alan Scott of North Platte; his parents, James Scott of Aurora, Colo., and Cora and husband, Jack Snyder of Ames; two brothers, Matt Scott of Fremont and Mark and wife, Traci Scott of Elkhorn; two sisters, Jamie Hunkins of Brunswick, Ga., and Vicki and husband, Scott Lock of Milligan; and one grandson.

Services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., Carpenter Breland Funeral Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating. Inurnment will be in Stratton Cemetery.

There will be no visitation and the body was cremated.

Memorials may be given in his name.
