Special helpers

Tuesday, December 24, 2002

Dear Editor,

My brother was looking for a bicycle for their foster son to ride back and forth to school. Marv Lorentz heard about his problem and called Bill Stewart.

Marv took my brother out to select a bike that would be just right and took it to the Toy Box. There, Santa's Helpers, Bill Stewart and Rex Morell worked all day fixing up the bike until it looked like new.

What a great thing they did for a boy in need. Needless to say, the bike went to a good home.

These guys deserve a lot of thanks for all the hard work they do for local kids in need.

Sincerely,

Lisa Felker
