CHAMPION -- In keeping with the theme "Christmas in July" the Chase County Museum exhibit Sunday will feature more than 30 nativity scenes owned by collector Judy Evers of Wauneta.

Evers has collected sets for more then 30 years, with the first coming from the J.C. Penney store. Included in the exhibit are Lenox and Gorham sets.

The largest set was a gift from Evers' husband, Rudy. It was made in Italy and has dozens of figurines.

During the Christmas season, Evers displays each set in her, and keeps the figures of the Holy Family in a curio cabinet year-round.

The museum is open from from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
