Bartley Summer Sensation activities set for Saturday

BARTLEY -- A Kiss the Llama Contest, Mardi Gras parade and street dance are among the highlights of the Bartley Summer Sensation, set for Saturday.

The schedule includes:

6:15-7:15 a.m., Road race registration.

7 a.m. -- Bartley Cafe opens, all-you-can-eat breakfast for $3.50.

7:30 a.m. -- Road race.

8 a.m. -- Co-ed mud volleyball, football field, $20 entry fee per team.

9 a.m.-9:30 a.m. -- Enter quilts, community building.

9:30 a.m. -- Parade registration, school.

10:30 a.m. -- Parade -- Mardi Gras

11:30 a.m. -- Hog roast and home made salads, free-will donation.

1-4 p.m. -- Lions mobile screening, Main Street.

1:15 p.m. -- Kiss the Llama Contest, Llamas R Us 4-H Club.

1:30 p.m. -- Kitchen Klatter Band from Hayes Center, Community Building.

1:30 p.m. -- Hot Fudge Sundaes, Sunsetters.

2:30 p.m. -- Kids games, park, prizes sponsored by Schaben Sanitation.

5:30 p.m. -- Bessie Bingo, Bartley Development Committee.

6 p.m. -- Dollar hamburgers at the Bartley Cafe.

9 p.m. to 1 a.m. -- Street Dance, sponsored by Mark Fuller, Bartley Cafe.
