Theology of the Hammer

The Rev. Charles Hooton, pastor at the Assembly of God church in McCook, dons overalls in preparation for joining God in building a Habitat for Humanity home. Hooton delivered the "Theology of the Hammer" at the Community Thanksgiving service Wednesday evening at the McCook Senior High School Auditorium. More than 300 people attended the event, sponsored by the Red Willow County Ministerial Association. Special music and Scripture readings were offered through the participation of seven area churches. An offering for Southwest Nebraska Habitat for Humanity was collected.
