Lebanon man killed in accident

DANBURY (AP) -- A 56-year-old Lebanon man died Tuesday night when his pickup struck a tree.

Lyle Springer was eastbound on Nebraska Highway 89 when his vehicle drifted across the center line and hit a tree, the Nebraska State Patrol said. It happened about 5 miles west of Danbury.

He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
