Glen Alan Lytle

EDGAR -- Glen Alan Lytle, 40, of Edgar, formerly of McCook, died Sunday (May 25, 2003) at Lovewell Reservoir near Mankato, Kan.

He was born June 10, 1962, at McCook, to Glen W. (Bud) and Julia M. (Harsch) Lytle. He graduated from Republican Valley High School in 1979. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church of Ash Creek, rural McCook.

On June 11, 1983, he married Cheryl Wright in Montezuma, Kan. He was a mechanic and worked at various dealers in Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas. He also was an Agco Service Representative in a three-state area.

On May 18, 1997, he married Missy Hergenrader at Kimball. He owned Lytle Ag Repair and worked for Schuck Drilling. He enjoyed collecting Gleaner combines and Allis Chalmers tractors, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Missy of Edgar; daughters, Desiree and Genni; sons, Brice, Cory and Jeffery; his parents, Bud and Julia Lytle of McCook; brothers, David Lytle and wife, Danyle, of McCook and Dan Lytle and wife, Sandy, of Swink, Colo.; one sister, Cherie and husband, Dan Sigwing, of McCook; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ash Creek, of rural McCook. The Rev. Brian Hopfensperger will be officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for his children's trust fund.
