Be more informed To the writer of "Dangerous fundamentalists": Do you really think that the Twin Towers disaster was caused by superstition? You call Christians ignorant, and say we wag and whoop about a "dead Jesus on a stick." If you were more informed about Christianity, you'd know that our Jesus isn't dead on a stick. We serve a living Jesus, who, in John 14:2, it says has gone on to prepare a place for us, and we will spend eternity in splendor in His presence. Perhaps you should read the Word of God and you would also know the living Jesus and invite Him into your life, and have the same future full of hope and expectation that we have.

Scratch my back Bush wants $87 billion to cover his goof-up in Afghanistan and Iraq, where we shouldn't be in the first place. Congress wants to give itself a raise. If Congress doesn't give him the $87 billion, he will veto their raise. If he doesn't let the raise go through, they won't give him the loot. A scratch-my-back deal. We're going to get the shaft on this one. Hope all our grandkids can forgive us.

No wonder School superintendents get upwards of $60,000 a year. Principals get around $45,000. All teachers are educated professionals. Do you really think we need the state to come up with a test to tell us if our kids can read? No wonder education is so expensive.
