Doss, Brewster engagement

Mindy Doss and John Brewster, both of Kearney, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Donna Cassidy of Omaha, Loren Cassidy of LaVista and Charles and Lynn Brewster of Kearney. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Wayne and Shirley Ball of McCook and Ross Doss of McCook and the late Jack Doss. The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Kearney High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The prospective bridegroom is also a 1998 graduate of Kearney High School. He is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying a political science. He also plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to study law. The couple is planning a Sept. 6, 2003, ceremony at the home of Kelly and Laureen Rapp in Kearney.
