The McCook Community College men snapped an eight-game losing streak to Trinidad State College Saturday and did so with a decisive 121-96 win in the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center. Sophomore Nate Coley, (Little Rock, Ark.) erupted for a career-high 42 points and freshman Djibril Diawara (Aulnay-sous-Bois, France) scored 18 first-half points and finished with 21 points. The McCook Community College women topped Trinidad State Saturday at home 75-57 to improve to 3-0 to start Region IX South play. The Lady Indians built a 20-10 lead five minutes into the game, but Trinidad responded with a 9-0 run before MCC hit a 3-pointer in the final 15 seconds of the half to take a 23-19 lead.
