MCC women finish super Easter weekend with two more wins

MCC women trounce Trinidad though home sweep, 23-1

The McCook Community College softball team outscored Trinidad State Friday at home 23-1 in a pair of games at the Jaycees Sports Complex. The Lady Indians won the first game 9-0 and took the second game 14-1. Both wins were in five innings. “It was a pretty flawless day for us,” said MCC Coach Mike Mendenhall. “We came to play. The McCook Community College baseball team took a pair of Empire League games Friday at home, sweeping Trinidad State 12-2 and 15-6. In Game 1, New Zealand left-hander Tait Anderson (freshman from Auckland) picked up a complete-game win on the mound in six innings as MCC scored 10 unanswered runs after trailing 2-0 in the second inning.
