Woman to prison for throwing chair

A woman accused of throwing a chair at McCook Work Ethic Camp guards was sentenced in District Court Monday in Red Willow County to 12 to 15 months at the Nebraska Department of Corrections. Nyamal G. Wuol, 19, of Grand Island, pleaded guilty to the Class III A felony charge of third degree assault of an officer. The sentence will run concurrent with a Hall County case in Grand Island, where she was sentenced to 12 to 18 months for criminal mischief and six months in jail for resisting arrest...
