If there was only one answer to the title of today's column and someone could determine it, then the problem could be fixed and the discoverer of the answer would become a very wealthy person in the process. Unfortunately, there isn't just one answer. In fact, there are a multitude of answers and I want to address just a few of them here...

Miles and miles of hills covered with trees. The Ozarks don't present many good choices to make an emergency landing, and thankfully I didn't need to try. We were flying from Tulsa, Okla., to Little Rock, Ark., and later to Branson, Mo. With the eye of a used-to-be farmer, I enjoy looking at what passes beneath my airplane...

Tax clarification

Oops, in my letter to the Gazette printed Nov. 7, my comment about voting for Sales Tax Ballots 2 and 3 was confusing and I would hope to clarify my thoughts. If 2 and 3 pass, and one fails, it will not eliminate our present 1 percent sales tax, it would continue until its sunset. Temporarily, the total sales tax would rise to 11?2 percent...
