The McCook Economic Development Corp. has been awarded a $40,000 grant to help the agency find ways to bring affordable housing to the McCook area. "It's great news. We're ecstatic," said Kay Lavene, the executive director of the McCook EDC. I just can't seem to get into the "Spirit of the Holidays."
