Red Willow District Judge John Battershell Wednesday ordered a 90-day evaluation at the state penitentiary before he sentences a 19-year-old McCook man for attempted manufacture of methamphetamine and attempted criminal mischief. Attorney Frank Shoemaker told Judge Battershell that Jason Stone, 19, of McCook, needs guidance, boundaries, skills and a job, and recommended that Stone be put on probation and sent to the state's work ethic camp in McCook. ...
