LABORER I - The City of McCook is accepting applications for a full-time Laborer I position at the Transfer Station - Collection Department. Job duties include hauling large refuse items from alleys to the Transfer Station, including brush; repair and replace collection containers; assists with recycling and compost operations; operation of dump and sanitation trucks; maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds; minor vehicle repair; and other duties as required. A high school diploma or GED required; A valid Nebraska driver's license is required. CDL required within 6 months of employment. Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test. 40-hour work wk. Salary range: $19.17-$26.71/hour. Excellent medical, dental, and life insurance benefits and employer match pension plan. Utility Superintendent: Full time position with the Village of Trenton municipality has a full time position for a utility superintendent in Trenton, NE. We are looking for someone who has a CDL. Obtaining a Grade 4 water operator license will be required as well. The wage is negotiable during the interview.
