Dark Shadow
Dark Shadow
By Arley Steinhour 081513
Looking from the window,
Up to the cloudy sky,
The house of man is under shadow,
Darker than, cloud that's passing by.
The news around this troubled world,
Seems to worsen each passing day,
Fathers and sons, Battle flags unfurled,
Against one another, fight, or even slay.
'Insane,' stands tall, the only explanation,
Describing this mixed-up, hateful, time,
Not in just one, but in every Nation,
Things acceptable now, was once a crime.
There's a book, that tells the story,
Of the days we, now, begin to pass,
The Bible, tells us of God's Glory,
And, how to cross to Sea of fiery glass.
The truths within God's Holy Word,
That can change, one's Thought and deed,
To read and heed, or the ear has heard,
Supporting our Faith, is all we need.
Please think about what is to be,
Do you wish to take the chance,
Eternal Torment, or Flying Free,
Decide upon the choice, your stance.
AMEN
