1000 Yard Guy's Class B All-State Football Teams

This is the first season I have picked an entire offense/defense. On defense, all positions are not included as indicated by one lineman. The obvious problem with this selection is that I do not have the luxury of coaches sending in nomination sheets like the major newspapers receive. My base for these picks is live games I have witnessed, game film (lots of it) and conversions with coaches throughout the state.

Classes C-1, C-2 D-1, and D-2 will follow the next few days, with C-1 coming later Tuesday.

  • Only one player listed west of Aurora? Looks very biased to the eastern part of the state which is something western Nebraska athletes have tolerated for many years.

  • I agree 100%. Just too many talented players from that side of the state this season. The West had some greats: Branden Yost, Keith Wallace, Ross Stewert, Jake Schlager of McCook, Robby Almond-Holdrege, Tyler McKeone-Lexington, Trevor Thompson-Alliance, Josh Swanson-Gering, Seth Rohrer, Mickey Marez-Scottsbluff, Ryan Bender, Matt Overmiller, Brady Rutt-Hastings High and Justin Roehrich-GINW. Should have an All-West Team, might be fun.
