Letter to the Editor

Eroding freedoms

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Dear Editor:

Our freedom as Christians has been slowly eroded over the past several decades by courts and elected politicians. Today we have people that tell us that there is to be a separation between church and state even though this is not in the constitution.

Christians of all denominations must unite to stand for our right to express our faith as we used to and to remove laws that force tolerance of immoral and unbiblical behavior.

Recently I watched the movie "Last Ounce of Courage" which is the story of a grieving father inspired by his grandson to take a stand for faith and freedom against a tide of apathy and vanishing liberty. I would like to encourage everyone of all denominations to see this important film at our local theater and be inspired to activism for the sake of Jesus Christ.
