McCOOK, Nebraska -- Red Willow County, Nebraska, commissioners will consider changes in county employees' health insurance plans during a weekly meeting Wednesday, starting at 9 a.m., in the courthouse in McCook.
If approved, the new plan will become effective June 1 and include two copayments for three-month mail-order prescriptions, and new hires will have to pay for their dependents.
Commissioners will also approve a payment of $1,050 to James Sanford, buying out the remainder of his lease for Apartment No. 5 at 520 Norris Avenue north of the courthouse. Commissioners plan to build the county's new jail on the three lots north of courthouse.
