COLBY, Kan. -- Elda L. Campbell, 90, died Wednesday (Dec. 10, 2008) at Citizen Medical Center in Colby, Kan.

She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Allison, Kan., to Richard and Lena (King) Kincaid. She grew up in Allison and attended Allison Schools.

On June 2, 1940, she married Leonard Brown. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1959.

She lived in Selden, Kan., and on Aug. 24, 1959, she married Albert "Red" Campbell. She was employed with Orleans Equity, Don Zodrow Creamery, Weber Poultry House and the Triangle Hog Farm.

She was a member of the Selden United Methodist Church and Ladies Aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Leonard and Red; brothers, Ray, Tuffy, Melvin, Vane and Myron; sisters, Anna, Vada, Helen, Bula and two infant sisters; five sons-in-law, Mike Rummel, Jeff Rains, Leon Werth and Joe Kruse.

Survivors include her daughters, Dee Heffington and husband, Jerry of Gardner, Kan., Janice Kruse of Selden, Kathy Rains of Oakley, Kan., Shirley Weber and husband, Omar of Colby, Kan., and Charlene Werth of Park, Kan.; sisters, Donna Stoffer and husband, Bill of Littleton, Colo., Gleda Scroggs of Arvada, Colo., Vera Kincaid of Lakewood, Colo., and Fern Frazier of Quinter, Kan.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Selden United Methodist Church in Selden with the Rev. Barbara Patterson officiating. Interment will be in the Selden Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Selden and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

Memorials may be given in her name.
