Rachel George

RUSHVILLE -- Rachel George 95, died Tuesday (Aug. 1, 2006) at her niece's home.

She was born on April 29, 1911, in Hastings, to Henry and Katherine (Glantz) Yost. She was married to William George and they lived in McCook for 40 years. In 2004, she moved to Rushville to live with her niece, Judy Klesh and husband, Gus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William.

Survivors include two sisters, Eunice and husband, Dr. Owen and Norma Skinner; and several nieces and nephews.

Her body was cremated and her remains will be buried in McCook.

Cicmanec-Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
