SELDEN -- Amelia M. Juenemann, 93, died Monday (July 10, 2006) at Infinia at Colby.

She was born Sept. 24, 1912, in Leoville, Kan. to Anthony and Eleanor (Heim) Kleinsorge. She grew up in the Leoville area and attended school in Leoville schools.

On June 4, 1935, she married Frank H. Juenemann in Leoville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the St. Rose Alter Society both of Selden.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Frank; one son, Paul Juenemann; five brothers, Leo, John, George, Aloysious and Bill Kleinsorge; and two sisters, Theresa Clardy and Clara Heim.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Wahlmeier and husband Louis, of Colby and Mary Ann Schemm and husband Mark of Smith Center, Kan.; five sons, Richard and wife Carol of Burlington, Colo., Donald and wife Helen of Selden, Ervin and wife Tammy of Concord, Calif., Joseph and wife Joyce of Saratoga, Wyo., and Frank and wife Stormy of Fall City Mills, Calif.; one brother, Martin and wife Yvonne of Texas; one sister, Rita Garver of Oberlin; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Selden, with the Rev. Dana Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Selden Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home in Selden. Vigil services will today at 7:30 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or Selden Senior Center in her name.
