Lemoin R. Rush

OBERLIN -- Lemoin R. Rush, 67, died Thursday (Jan. 26, 2006) at the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin.

He was born March 15, 1938, in Oberlin to Robert D. Rush and Edna Peters. He graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1956.

He married Idella Nelson in June 1958. They made their home on a farm northeast of Oberlin.

He was a farmer and a member of the United Church of Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister in infancy, Iva Lee; and former wife, Idella Frickey.

Survivors include sons, Terry Rush and wife, Sandy of Oberlin and Kevin Rush and wife, Michelle of Olathe, Kan.; daughter, Cinda Flax and husband, Vernon of Arnold, Kan.; brother, Virgil "Pete" Rush and wife, Phyllis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Donna Lawver and husband, Elmer of Colby, Kan., and Sharon Schuetz and husband, Jerry of Oberlin; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, 2:30 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and Monday, 8 a.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials are being accepted in his name.
