Emma Emilie (Holle) Niermeier

KEARNEY -- Erma Emilie (Holle) Niermeier, 86, died Tuesday (June 15, 2004) in Kearney.

She was born Sept. 12, 1917, to Fred Henry Rennig and Ida Doretta (Dunker) Holle in rural Ludell. She was a 1935 graduate of Atwood, Kan.

On Sept. 12, 1940, she married Walter Henry Fredrich Niermeier. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry on July 8, 1997; and two sisters, Edna Wendelin and Elsa Reynolds.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Nicolaus and husband, David of Seward; two sons, Rudolph "Rudy" Niermeier and wife, Wilma of Atwood and Everett "Niles" Niermeier and wife, Jayne of Ludell; one sister, Adela Fahnenstiel of Evergreen, Colo.; and one brother, Robert Holle of Atwood.

Services are Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Atwood with the Rev. Don White officiating. Interment will be in Immanuel Cemetery in Ludell

Visitation is today until 9 p.m., at Brantley Funeral Home of Atwood.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Education Building Fund, Lutheran Hour or to the donor's choice.
