Janae and Pablo Martinez

ATWOOD -- Janae Ann Fahrenbruch of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Pablo Carlo Martinez of Denver, Colo., were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2003, at the United Methodist Church in Atwood with the Rev. Kent Morgan officiating.

Parents of the couple are Larry and Mary Fahrenbruch, Chuck and Beatriz Roesch, all of Atwood and Edwardo Martinez of Bogota, Columbia. Grandparents are Frances Roesch of Colby, Kan., Guatavo Quintero, Pablo Martinez and Clotilde Martinez, all of Columbia, South America and the late Hazel Schilz, Adolph and Erma Fahrenbruch and Gloria Quintero.

The bride wore a white satin fitted dress that featured a jewel neckline and mid-arm sleeves made of taffeta and covered with shimmering sequins. It fell into a three-foot train. Her bouquet was made of white roses, stephanotis and evergreen.

The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with a silver vest. His boutonniere was a white rose, stephanotis and evergreen.

Sherri Rizner of Longmont, Colo., was the matron of honor. Janelle Fahrenbruch of Hays, Kan., sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Misti Spayde of Ulyssee, Kan., was a bridesmaid. They each wore a floor-length, short sleeve, slip dress made of black velvet, with a sash neckline. They each carried a bouquet of stephanotis, a white rose and evergreen.

The best man was Chris Sterling of Centennial, Colo. BJ Fahrenbruch of Des Moines, Iowa and Tarry Fahrenbruch of Hays, Kan., brothers of the bride, served as bridegroomsmen, ushers and candlelighters. They wore attire similar to the bridegroom's with stephanotis boutonnieres.

The flowergirl was Abigail Sandberg of Stratton. She wore a black velvet dress and carried a white satin basket with pearls. The ring bearer was Clayton Rhiney of Colby. He was attired in a black suit and carried a white satin pillow.

The pianist was Karen Rigler and the vocalists were Karen and Kenny Rigler of Oswatome, Kan.

The guestbook attendant was Tisha Ottem of Aurora, Colo. Attending the gift table was Melissa Weiss and Christina McDonald, both of Culbertson, cousins of the bride.

The reception was at the church fellowship hall. Reception servers were Pam Schmidtberger of Hays, Kan., Aracely Riney, Jennifer Sterling, Becca Skrdlant and Alba Almeida.

The couple honeymooned in Estes Park, Colo., and skied at El Dora.

The bride is a teacher at Think Smart School and the bridegroom is a loan officer with American General Finance of Denver.

The couple is making their home in Denver.
